I use abranet on both an ETS 150/5 and a Rotex, in both cases with a vacuum. My view of Abranet:
    • It sands a little faster than other papers of same grit,
    • It sands a little smoother than other papers of same grit,
    • It lasts longer than other papers,
    • Vacuum is virtually essential.

The performance of virtually any sander is substantially improved when you connect the vacuum, even more so with abranet, possibly becuase of the smaller hole size. (ie mesh moles rather than drilled holes)

    Cheers

That is the 110V version, UK construction sites use 110V tools apparently.

So is the long-term performance of your lungs

I can't remember the exact distance, but the marketing blurb was that Abranet in conjuction with the 48(?) hole Mirka pad meant that any dust generated was no more than a couple of mm from a vacuum hole.

    Hey qwertyu

240 volt versions are available in Australia from Japanese Tools Australia and from Mallee Industries, and others, at slightly better prices than your reference in UK.
