    Scott.
I thought Matt was being silly when he suggested my roofing nail would offer an advantage. Evidently not!

Paul, can you hurry up and unload yours saws off the Donkey and send it back to the border to pick up mine.

Wow! That was fast. Here's hoping I see mine this afternoon too (unless that roofing nail fell out and punctured the postman's tyre.

    Kind regards,

    Sorry Brad

I was in NSW (New Mexico?) for the weekend. I did look briefly for the donkey as I crossed the border into QLD this evening, but I think he got bored with waiting and shed the load at the POas he was nowhere to be seen. I will collect my parcel tomorrow morning. Whereabouts of the donkey unknown at this point in time. Possibly anywhere within a 200km radius of Texas (that's in Oz: Not the US), but there may be additional delays because of fires if he ventures too far towards the coast.

Good to hear your package has been dropped off Paul, hopefully the Donkey hightails it back to the border without delay, he has important business to attend to.
Back to the bushfires, just watching the 7:30 Report, things don’t look good in the areas worst affected, hopefully for everyone down that way, things ease off and there is no more loss of life and property.

    Brad

All the reports at this stage are that the NSW scenario is going to escalate bigtime. The official warning is that many coastal areas have been shifted up to a "catastrophic" rating. catastrophic means that even though you may be in a dwelling that is designed to combat fire, it won't. The option is "leave."

My son travelled back early this morning from the Gloucester region through to Walcha. While neither of these towns had bushfire warnings directly applied, there were fire towards the east. He said at 0400hrs the smoke was dense and there were spot fires occurring on the verges. He was concerned for a while that the fires were ahead of him as well as behind and to the sides! He was OK but said there was smoke the whole way through to QLD. We travelled back a different way and saw nothing of fires but we were further to the West.

    The donkey should be safe.

    Regards

I was busily beavering away at work, when "hark, what do I hear? Could it be the postman?"
Popping my head out of the window showed a white van with a delivery canary.

I rushed downstairs, accepted the package, rushed into the shed and opened it.

YES! My roofing nail has arrived safely!

Now back to work, with so much on my mind, except work!

    Kind regards,
    Lance

My package arrived yesterday as Matt said and I picked it up this morning. Retreated to the "containment" area to oggle my parcel. All good: Better than in the pix. A lot of work ahead.

Thanks Matt and Sally for all your work.

According to the parcel tracker, mine will arrive on Friday. I head off for work tomorrow, won’t be back til Tuesday night. My wife will collect it for me, but saws don’t interest her .
