    Default Thanks to Ruddy

Just a quick one: I get irritated having to sort out postage on 1 parcel... Ruddy has gone above and beyond over the past month. Kudos to him (even if circling vultures beat me to most of the goodies !) I hope it all helps in the circumstances...

As possibly chief vulture, I'll add my thanks for making this an entertaining lockdown period! Even if Ian hasn't managed to convince Australia Post that my deliveries need to be delivered within two weeks..

And another THANK YOU from me too for you Ian.
All your time and effort to assist with the disbursement of all of this is commendable.

Yeah it's an amazing job he's done, I can't even begin to imagine trying to keep track of all the details, packaging, posting, and payments, and still get it all done so quick!

Agreed, despite watching from the sidelines (unintentionally due to incompatible timing it seems). This must rate right up there with the "Great saw dispersal" by Mr and Ms Simplicity last year.

I too offer my thanks and appreciation; I don't know what relationship Ian has with the family but even if it is just as a trusted acquaintance it can't be a very pleasant task discussing how to dispose of everything. It is my earnest hope that when my time comes I have someone available who can perform the task just as well.

Let us all remember that this all started with the tragic passing of a fellow woody; someone who didn't get to appreciate all the items that have now found their way into our workshops. I like to think that he would have been satisfied knowing that these are going to good homes.

As One, whom has purchased a couple small items, they will be utilised as intended and cared for as all tool should!

Thanks Ian for doing this task for the family of the recently departed woody.

Yes thanks Ian! I’ve already out the new plane to work. Although very sad circumstances, I’m sure the former owner is smiling at the fact their tools have gone to those who value and appreciate them and will be used with passion and skill for many years to come.

Good to also have someone who can help achieve a fair price, instead of a fire sale or the woodies spouse selling them for what they said they paid 😂.

Agreed. Every day - more... its endless.

If its not too crass to ask, I wouldn't mind hearing a bit of a story behind all this.

As a beneficiary of some purchases I wholeheartedly support the comments of others of the sterling efforts of Ian. A truly momentous task to undertake. Thanks Ian for everything.

My thanks as well, Ian. I know how much work this has been for you, and over and above this, in my case, you have gone the extra mile.
