    Hi MM,

Nope, I'm doing a bit of re-org so I can fit a lathe (and now a sharpening station) into my little 2-car-garage workshop. I'm taking the opportunity to do a bit of a clean up and getting rid of stuff that I have duplicates of, and things I no longer use that are just taking up precious cupboard and drawer space. The goal is to spend more time actually building stuff instead of shuffling things around to make space in which to work.

    Cheers,
    Mike

    Hi Mike,

I love the SCMS station. It looks sturdy and very useful for many tasks. I think I also see the edge of your magnificent workbench in that photo too.

Thanks mate but when that photo was taken I wouldn't have even conceived of my Shaker bench in my head at that stage. My SCMS station was the 1st shop furniture I built if my memory serves me correctly. Putting a slab on top of a couple of heavily discounted roller tool cabinets and sitting them on a plinth was the easiest, and probably cheapest, way I could think of. I'll be modifying it soon by getting rid of the side fences and improving the dust collection.
