My father was a watchmaker and I used to often visit his workshop. There were always may watches in various states of assembly/disassembly on his workbench. I could never understand how he knew which parts were for which watch...he did of course. In all the years he worked as a watchmaker I doubt that heavier saw a watch anywhere as complex as the Patek in the clip. Thanks for this, it took me back to when I was quite young.
I am just happy to know what day it is.
Beautiful craftsmanship.
PAUL.
That's the watch I buy myself after I bought this for my wife:http://www.abc.net.au/news/2015-04-2...illion/6411082
Only 6 of those watches for sale. They have over 50 people interested but you can't just cough up $2.6M. You have to go and interview for the sale and the company will decide if you are worthy of such a watch. Screw 'em, I'm withdrawing my expression of interest.
