Zinc shed turned cat enclosure, help needed for insulating and soundproofing
Hi guys.
I know insulation and soundproofing have been covered before but we have a bit of a combined quest.
Wife made me buy and 8m x 3.5m zinc shed which she will keep her breeding cats in.
Basically the ideas I have:
* a couple of whirly birds as well as a few cut outs on the walls for ventilation
* I was thinking of using the insulation paint additive to paint the outside of the shed to help keep it cool in summer
* Possible a shade cloth structure over the top of the shed if necessary.
* I need to soundproof the shed as much as possible (even though I will have the wall cut out type vents.
* I want to install some sheets of laserlite to the roof to let in sun
So to me a bit of a dilema. Stop noise even though I need ventilation, stop heat/noise even though I need laserlite. Stop spending too much money on these cats - so as cheap as possible. Regarding the noise, they cats are not loud but we do want to reduce as much of their noise as possible.
So please help me, I don't know what to do.......
