Try Trend Timbers as a start
It's not near Sydney, but I have bought five lots of Paulownia from here
http://www.paulownia-timber-sales.com.au/About%20us.htm
and had it transported to the South Coast.
thanks but i had already seen that and was hoping ther would be somewhere closer.
I bought my paulownia from Trend Timbers at Mulgrave. They have almost any timber species you could want. I'm planking my RG65 in paulownia at the moment.
Cheers
Graeme
oh yer i forgot about that place its only about 20 minutes from where i live thanks heaps
Jay
I bought some Paulownia from the guy at whitewood price seemed OK, he will give you a delivered price 'just about' when you have worked iut your quantities. He has it delivered by Ipec to your door wrapped in plastic mine turned up in A1 condition.
I also bought some WRC from Barrenjoey timbers at Mona Vale they cut it to strips 20x6 for me which most places will not, it is alot dearer than the Paulownia, also I got some Australian Cedar from Gladesville timber, price OK I guess you have to pay for the 'FEATURES'.
Good Luck
