G'Day Folks,
Hers a few recent pens I have made. They are my first attempts along the kitless route, they all use the section from a Churchill FP and have 13mm triple start thread for the cap to body.

Well done , I like the red ( ceboplast ? ) a difficult material, but worth the effort :) A different level of pen making on show there , my only concern would be plastic on plastic threads :( but a bit hard to do metal threads on that scale , but I am sure once on this path more innovation will come :) Cheers ~ John
Congratulations Cam!! Beautifully done!!!:2tsup::2tsup::2tsup::2tsup:
I would suggest a small amount of plastic polish on the threads and then gentle use of a dremal with a soft polishing brush, turn slowly in the lathe and gently polish, not in one place as you can get it a bit hot and melt the plastic as it is pretty thin :) cheers ~ John
It helps if you polish the area you want to thread before threading and use lots of lubrication. Cooking oil brushed on or cooking spray works well for plastics.
Pete
