you can always just enter "site:au" to the end of your search and it will limit to Aus.
I believe Google is stopping servicing ie8.
Regards
just use google.com.au Google
Gone with XP and IE8 or FF 16 as well.
since google is ebay , ebay no longer lets you search with "*" wildcard ,
that is just a pain , instead of 300 to sort through now i have 30,000 , you cant search coin's by country and century anymore
To restrict the search to Austraila you need to click the "Search Tools" button next to the "More" drop down box (it took me a while to figure this out after the change as well).
I use "Google Advanced Search" as my home page. You can select the Region on it.
Tried to respond to some of the suggestions at 9:00pm Saturday night and was informed that the server was too busy - try again later. Don't forum members have a life. :D
Cliff I am using google.com.au
The thot plickens - Sparhawk, I don't have a "search tools" choice next to the "More" button. There is "Calendar" on one side and nothing on the other.
It was just so easy when the list on the left hand side of the screen gave you the choice of "web" or "Australia"
Groggy, still have to try out the "site:au" suggestion.
FOUND IT!!!!
When the search results are returned a new horisontal set of menu choices are provided just under the search criteria box. As Sparhawk said, this is where the "search tools" choice appears. By clicking on this another horizintal menu appears with the left most choice being "The web". Click on this and a dropdown box allows youto select "pages from Australia"
So there you go :2tsup:
