After finishing a couple of large cabinets I spent the weekend fumbling around doing odd jobs in the shed.
I have a clamp rack on the wall but the clamps end up spread all around the shed. Bar clamps and pipe clamps lean against a wall or lie dangerously on the floor where they were last used.
I have seen a couple of interesting rolling clamp trollies (Norm and Taunton) and the idea of moving all the clamps to the job was appealing.
The attached pic is my new Rolling clamp rack.
52" high
3' X 2' (that is what the plan said and I had an imperial tape measure)
Ply and MDF
locking and swivelling castors
Bessey and F- clamps sit nicely and bar clamps feel secure.
Quick Clamps will need a support rail.
I need something for the G clamps
Sping clamps probably nned a box or just clamp to a rail
Pretty handy project and filled in the afternoon in the shed listening to the football.
A good rack on the wall for the pipe clamps is another project.
