I recall my dad's old table saw very much like the one made above but on a larger scale with.
I reckon for under $10 your got a bargain especially if it gets done what needs to be done.
Necesity is the mother of invention

And I was going to post a thread asking if you could build one for less than $15. :brava: well done.
(the Yanks are :scratchhead: :D and bugger it my smilie ain't working :doh: )
It would be such a great fun project to make your own wooden table saw. :) Well done Kiwi :2tsup:
Nice :2tsup:
Will it take a dado blade?
Actually I posted it as a Joke to be honest. I saw someone selling it on Trade me and thought I would post it to see what reactions I would get :U
I think most of us got it, Kiwi.
I was going to ask you for a WIP & if you'd post the plans....
:U :;
Scarey thing is someone may actually purchase it for "real" use.
I'd still like to see how it goes with a dado blade
LOL
Is it just me or have we really been sold a pup - had a look at the pix of the saw again - just checking to see how the dado blade would fit - and the power cable appears to have a female plug at the end of the cord - which means that the extension lead / powerpoint would have to have the prongs exposed - very dodgy indeed.
Regards,
Bob
That's not that funny.. where do you think the triton saw bench came from.
Someones stupid idea to use a saw for something it was never intended to do... great aussie invention.
