Pet repellants
Whats a good pet repellent? I know shotguns work well but I'm talking little pets, ones a shotgun would vaporize. :q I don't shotgun pets anyhow, thats my neighbors trick. :((
Their little wiener dogs are getting to be a problem though. They let them free roam everywhere and believe it or not they do. If I was their size I'd spend all my time hiding under the front porch. I'm waiting for a hawk or eagle to end my problems but so far they haven't, probably not big enough for them to bother with.
The problem is their bathroom habits. Right outside my gate, right past where my dogs can get and right where you have to step to get out of your vehicle to shut the gate, is where they defecate. It's amazing how much shiite such little dogs can have in them.
I'm thinking there has to be something I can get and pour out there to keep them from doing that. Vinegar, bleach, gear oil, bear , something like that.
I'm tired of showing up at work only to realize I have dog shiite on my shoes. :~ It's hard to clean your shoes at work.

G'day.
My mother swears by Cloudy Ammonia.
She sprinkles Cloudy Ammonia all over the grass. It doesn't hurt the grass and the dogs can't get away fast enough.
Humans can't smell it.
If it rains, She does it again when the grass has dried.
It is available from most supermarkets.

I have heard that Cayenne Pepper works.

Hold their dogs to ransom, or bag up the "William The Thirds" and deliver them back to the offending householder. :((
Does your local authorities have a say in the matter of stray dogs in the USA? They certainly do here in Australia. If so, get them to hold the dogs to ransom.

Buzza is right , no don't hold them to ransom , but collect their droppings in a bag and put them in their neighbours letterbox for one week then don't use the bag after that but do returne the dropings
After three weeks put dropings in a bag soak in lighter fluid leave on neighbours door step light then ring door bell and vacate ,
neighbour stomps out fire and ...
or if not put up with the crap , your choice

Strong 'Pine' or 'Eucalyptus' disinfectants instead of Ammonia - the idea is to destroy the scent trail the little B$^^#*$ have built up - also works if they P&& on the petunias. In general the dogs are 'marking' their favorite spot and will keep depositing there until something breaks the habit.
Burying bare live power lines under the spot has its attraction, but you might get the odd desperate drunk.
Setting fire to a 'collection' on the front doorstep is an effective way in indicate your displeasure - just make sure there are no prints on the bag, no video (run fast) and make sure someone is home so they put it out before the house burns down.
I believe that Vietnamese prefer dog to cat, with 7 special sauces.
