I'm considering carving a large mural say 2.4 high by 5 or 6 metres long.
I'm confident that macrocarpra is suitable as it has lower shrinkage than huon etc and is nice & light for handling as well as being a Kauri look alike.
I'm thinking of laminating panels say 1 metre wide that connect together to make the complete mural.
Do you think the back of each panel should be framed up in a similar manner to a table or can you suggest a better method of keeping it all from warping etc.
