Any idea's for a woodmachinist?
Hi Guys,
Greetings to you all the way from Ireland.I am a woodmachinist with 10+ years experience working every type of machine you can think of, my last job i ran a 9 head weinig moulder.
As ye all probably know the economy over here is very poor here at the moment and i have been unemployed a couple of months now so i am thinking of setting up my own business but i am stuck for ideas, construction is dead here so i need to come up with a product that i could produce that's not construction related.
Thank you for reading, any advice would be great.

With other mills closing, there may be an opportunity to take over there business or buy there cutters.
If you can pick up a newish 9 header, and '000's of cutters in various shapes you could carve out a niche for odd shaped and rare profiles.
As our building industry has slackened off here, renovations have gone on unchecked.
Supplying molding to match old profiles can be a handy add-on to, running the normal flooring, lining, decking, 4 square ?
Could be you point of difference.
