Tool gloat, Omga pneumatic dual saw
Good day.
Ever since I bought my Omga mitre saw I am hooked, its precise, its heavy, its built to last, I often log onto Omga sites to browse their range and fantasise about having a complete workshop full of Omga/SCM/Masterwood machinery.
Recently I came across a second hand dual saw by Omga in prestine condition, they retail for about $20k USD without any accessories, the owner wanted less than $3k NZD.
Was thinking if I should buy it as its a beast at about 5m long, 1m wide and 1.3m high.
here is a video of how the pneumatic dual saw works:

I have a small one man production shop, this would be a good addition to the workshop, at the moment I do have to swing my timber around to cut it again on the panel saw (I use my panel saw to do mitre cut, its accurate and quick compared to standard mitre saw), this saw would save the time and labour involved... the saw is foot perated, probably safer than the panel saw.
Had a look on the Omga website again to check the price, current model is about $20k USD, the one I wanted to buy is close to 1/10 of the new price and its condition is superb, I didnt think again and just bought it.
I now have to think of a place to put it, its huge, its the biggest machine I have.
I better buy wifey something nice before the saw turn up... maybe a necklace she'd been wanting...
