I'm looking into options for mobile eftpos with my smart phone.
Does anyone here have that?
Any recommendations?

My daughter has this set-up. It works well, but I don't know much about it. Have a chat with a business consultant with the Commonwealth Bank regarding how it is done and costs. Don't get hung up with the transaction costs, it is just a part of doing business.

We started doing a couple of the local markets earlier this year and settled on using PayPal Here. Bit of a hassle to set up initially but works really well. Fees are very reasonable. We initially went with one of the bigger banks but you need to enter the credit card manually (no card reader) and if you made a mistake you had to start from the beginning - bit of a pain when you have people waiting. Bank fees are another consideration. This particular bank took a percentage (from memory 2.5%) or a $10 minimum monthly charge plus a $10 merchant fee. I believe there are a few more options available now but PayPal is definately worth a look.

Don't know about the smart phone but the banks will lease you the card reader for about $50 per month and paypal is selling the readers for about $120 outright. Brilliant thing to have, nearly doubled our sales ten years ago because they are so quick and easy to use and people spend more. Also the convenience of getting off the plane in Perth or anywhere in Oz, switching on the remote terminal/card reader and being instantly in business mode.
I have been looking at a Quest Micropay system that is $25 per month +2% CC and 25c debit card.
Seems reasonable, and it works with my Windows Phone.
Well I might bite the bullet and get it.
If you have an iPhone and are not far from an Apple Store then a quick visit would get you sorted. We had an appointment and the guy next to us was setting his phone up so he could get paid by customers by credit card. I'm unsure of the details though. There is also a site called Eftpos Australia who may be able to point you in the right direction.
