Free dust information offer to WA mens sheds

Some information has been sent about this to WA Men's Shed Association but it may not get out to all WA Men's sheds which is why I am posting it here.

If your men's shed needs advice about dust extraction I am available "at cost" to visit your mens shed and provide up to 2-3 hours of my time.

I can provide any or all of the following
- a general computer based presentation to your members up to about 45 minutes on wood dust. It can be as technical or simple as you wish.
- a walk around your shed suggesting things like type and location of dust collectors, machinery and ducting designs etc.
- follow up advice by phone or email.

What I mean by "at cost" mainly applies to outside the Perth metro area in that I will visit your shed in the country sheds provided your shed pays for my transport costs etc.
If I can get there and back in one day normally all I ask for is to cover the cost of fuel.
Perth Metro sheds are not normally charged.

Me'ns sheds are also welcome to visit our shed (Manning) to have a look at what we are doing in terms of dust collection.

So far I have visited abut a dozen mens sheds and have a few more visits in the pipeline, and about 5 mens sheds reps have visited Manning to look at our system.

Please bear in mind that this is essentially a free service so it may take some to fit it around my other commitments.
