Refurbing a Wood Heater

Hi Gents,
The better half bought a S/H wood heater at the end of last Winter, and now I have to get it ready to install.
It needs a bit of tidying up and I have been looking for a parts diagram and trying to pin down the model...all to no avail.
Its a 'Norseman' free standing tile fire...that's all I know....
There is not an ID plate that I can see....just a serial number.
Can anyone ID the heater and possibly have a PDF of the owners manual or parts diagram please?

I can't believe its been so hard to find info on it.....this stuff must be closely held secrets....lol.

Failing that, does anyone know if there is a gasket under the flue flange, on the top?

I'm pretty sure the Norseman range is by an Aussie mfr and distributed solely by BBQs Galore...

...and at a guess I think that your one is either a Saxon or an early Silhoutte.

Perhaps you'd be best served by taking a pic into one of their stores? With luck they could put you in touch with someone who knows.

Never seen a flange used in wood heaters, generally they rely on the draw of the flue to not allow leaks. That said if there is a reason that there is not a good seal like rust or warping there's nothing stopping you running a line of flue cement under it before reattaching...even using some of the fibreglass rope under it will work...

I saw B/galore and they had the goods. Exploded diagram and all.
Apparently its just called 'Tile Fire'....lol No fancy name for this model.
Info lists model numbers but nothing visible on fire itself.
Flue flange does have a gasket. If it s cheap enough, I'll buy a new one, otherwise I will use flue cement.
