Kangaroo in Europe

Some months ago a Forum Member Treecycle asked me to post some photos from summer trip around some Ukraine cities. I'll do it in some weeks. This post about kangaroo monument which is located in the center of my city - Dnipro (Dnipropetrovsk), Ukraine.
Yes, almost in the center of the city, in a yard between old 5 floors buildings is placed a monument of kangaroo. It's made from cement (beton).
Below you can see two photos. One with two girls and date - 1957 year, the monument was already placed. And the second photo - the same monument refurbished a little by man who lives in the next building.
Exists a local city tale about this kangaroo monument.
In the nearest building lived a family without children. They tryed a long time to born a child but with no succes. One time this family have visited a zoo in other city and a spouse caressed a kangaroo with small kangaroo in a bag. After 9 monthes this family got a baby!
Man was a professor of local university of construction and architecture and spose insisted him to make a kangaroo monument and place this monument in the yard of their building.
So the women from Dnepr, who can't have a child should caresse this kangaroo monument for this.
This is only tale....
Of course, I'm sure that our monument is not an ideal, but the distance from Dnepr to Sydney is 14590 km, so apologise us for the details.
