This is the first toy I built.
Certainly doesn't look like any of my "first"! Very nice job. I assume that is from a Toys and Joys plan. I have one waiting to be started. I'm going to do the '34 Chev Coupe. I how I do as well as you did on yours.
Yes it is a toys and joys plan. I enjoy making the toys and plan on posting some others. Good luck on yours I am sure you will enjoy it and will be great.
If that is your first, I would hate to imagine what you will produce in a couple of years time. Excellent job.
It would be nice to see it from a few more angles so we can really appreciate the quality of your work.
What a great job you have done. Congratulations !!!!
G'Day & Welcome to the Great Southern Land and to a top forum "Sawdust".
There are quite a few members from across the USA and the rest of the world.....
You'll find a heap of helpful & knowledgeable blokes & ladies on the forum and for most very willing to assist [especially the toy & model makers].
Make sure you keep showing off your handiwork as everyone loves a photo, especially WIP [Work In Progress] photos with build notes.
Would love to see a few more photos of your first build as it looks first class, a job well done, sir....
Enjoy the forum.
Enjoy your woodwork and toymaking.....
Cheers from On Top DownUnder, crowie

My oldest son sells Caterpillar equipment so he likes me to make construction equipment . This took awhile bilt with poplar ,aspen, and walnut. The track took the longest with around 200 parts alone

Now that's on top excavator sir and deserved it's own thread....
All the time and effort in those 200 parts has been well rewarded with a beautiful model/toy....very well done..
Cheers crowie
Amazing stuff, well done. No doubt you have something else planned for construction. As others have commented, post more pics so we can see the detail of your fine work. Those tracks must have taken ages to put together. :)
What a cracker!!!!

Absolutely fantastic:2tsup::2tsup::2tsup:
Another beautifully made vehicle. Were you and Nine Fingers twins and separated at birth?
May I just make one suggestion. Take your models outside to photograph, as the flash takes away all the intricate detail so that we can't fully appreciate all the hard work that has gone in to building this magnificent piece.
