Cheers,
I have a TGS 172. I bought it second hand 28 years ago. Great saw. Invaluable when fixing out. But never had a manual. Would you be able to arrange a copy for me?

Please feel free to let me what I owe you for the copy
PS Have you had trouble with the cable on the safety guard breaking? I have made up my own by soldering the cable into the metal ends. The length is critical for proper movement
Just PM'd 5MB file so let me know if the size was a problem and I can reduce to a couple of smaller files. So far no problems with the saw but I haven't touched it for a while as the grass and weather have been keeping me too busy :) Not really complaining the rain is back yippee!!!!!
Cheers,
Hiya, I've recently acquired an Elu TGS 172 and I'm not convinced all the parts needed to run it safely are there. I've tried hard to locate a manual so that I can check this out but I have had no joy to date. So although your post is now a little old, I thought it was worth seeing if I could get a response. I'm not sure how it would work but I'm hoping you might be able to e-mail me a copy of your 172 manual - it would really make my day (The best e-mail to send stuff to me is [email protected]). So I'll keep my fingers crossed and see what happens when I press send! Warm regards Bob
If you click on his name at the top of the post you will see a box appear and one of the options is to send a private message. Click that and it will open another screen with his name already there. Give the message a title in the next box down, write your message and there's a send button at the bottom.
Thanks Treecycle. Never to old to learn!:C
Hello,
