Assembling Triton router puzzle
A couple of years ago I dismantled and reassembled my router using Ray's excellent instructions - no problem.
Yesterday I decided to use the depth stop for the first time, it's not something I normally bother with. Was puzzled to find that the depth stop tube wouldn't fit over the depth stop bolt because the end was plugged about 5mm up the tube.
Thought that I must have put the depth stop tube in the wrong way round so dismantled the router again. But no way it works that way round either because the plastic spring location peg doesn't reach into the hole in the housing so the spring just buckles into the gap. In any case it conflicts with Ray's instructions "Ensure the depth stop is released to its fullest extent" because if its that way round it comes out altogether.
I can't see any parts that I'm missing on the parts list. I'm probably missing the obvious (happens a lot) but please can somebody help me out.
