Neck Through Electric Bass
Just finishing my second neck through bass. This one probably took around 100 hours or so to this stage. I am a custom drum builder and have recently delved into basses. My goal was to build a fretless with an epoxied fretboard. The marine epoxy protects the fingerboard from the round wound strings and gives the bass a distinct tone first heard from Jaco Pastorious.
Features:
- European beach and New Guinea Rosewood (really orange/red colour)
- New Guinea Rosewood Fingerboard
- EMG Jaz/P pickup combination
- To be finished in traditional danish oil
Should be completed as soon as I level and polish the fingerboard. Will post some images then. Will end up on ebay.

Purpleheart Neck Through Bass Fretless
Thanks for the compliment. Yes the side markers only. It just gives it that clean look. That EMG setup is a great configuration. I use fender's jazz bass as a guide to the positioning for the 35 inch setup.
The purpleheart/beech combo i made previously sounds amazing with the same setup.
