Had my saw for a couple of months and has been great.
Using it for about 5 mins today when it turned off.
It is tripping the circut breaker on the power switch on the saw, not on my house.
I press it in, it works for about 5 secs then switches off again.
I have checked the power cable, swapped power cable, changed power outlets etc, and is still the same.
Any ideas?

Have you tried opening everthing up and giving it a good blast with compressed air.
I use to work for a company that sold Power Tools as another part of their business (would rather not say who, but most of you will know them), quite often we would get tools in where dust had shorted them out.
Because your lucky enought to have a Circuit Breaker I'm wonder if there is dust in one of the Electrical Box's or Switch's. Maybe even the Saw itself.
Other than that your going to need a Sparky that can test it.

Circuit breaker could be faulty, motor may be drawing too much current, as said above might be time to get a sparky
Depends on how many amps the saw draws. From memory most houses are wired for 10amp. Some table saws draw 15 to 20 amps therefore you'll have to have a plug in your shed which is wired to the box which has a 20 amp or so capability. Just check your manual for the saw.
Disclaimer: I'm no electrician, I could be wrong! :)
Does it spin up to full speed before tripping, or is it tripping out at about the same time?
Just to add to this, I noticed some other posts where they talked about a Tripping Out problem and the possibility that they needed to upgrade the Meter Box with a 20amp line.
I don't know why this popped into my head, but if you go down that track I would ask the Sparky what the wiring to the Shed is rated at. No point having a 20amp breaker and wiring that is rated below that, potential fire hazard I think.
Maybe standard house wiring is rated to over 20amp anyway, I know in industry you run different cables for higher loads.
Anyway, never hurts to ask them while they are there.

I only have a Restricted Sparky License, the main restriction being I'm not allowed to kill myself ... lol
This needs a little clarification. Do you mean the over load on the saw it self or on the power point, if on the power point it is more likely to be an earth leakage trip than an over load which would indicate moisture.

I have also blasted all dust out etc with compressed air. I even opened the switch box on the saw and gave that a blast although there was no dust in there.
Still no go :-(
I have emailed the place where I bought it as it is still under warranty.
Oh and yes, it doesn't really get to full speed I would say. Trips about the same time every time.
I highly doubt it is a AMP issue. My last saw was a 15AMP one so I have it plugged into that anyway. This saw is only a 10AMP one. Well on the saw it says 9AMP.

I wouldn't mess around much if it is still under warranty. Just check that it turns freely by hand ie it is not rubbing or got a bit of wood jamming some where. If it was a motor problem it would most likely trip straight away and there would have been a lot of stinky smoke around the first time it tripped.
I can't help much with out a hands on examination. You know a sparkie's healing hands etc.
Let us know what the problem is when you do find out.

As it's under warranty take it back,my contractors saw I bought from Carbetec stopped dead the problem was that one of the bearing locks on the blade shaft unscrewd binding everything up,they took it back and fixed it the next day.If it's throwing breakers something is tight.
I asked about the speed it was tripping on because that could possibly point to a motor fault.
There are several different "start" mechanisms and it's possibly the switch-over from start mode to running mode that's causing the trip.
But regardless of what is causing the failure, NRB has it right. If it's still under warranty, take it back!
I'll chime in with everyone else, time to let the Warranty work for you.

Yep, warranty but dont let them stuff you around. Nothing worse than a warranty claim that makes you wish you just went and bought something else.
I'm with Skew on this one too. A faulty 'run' capacitor might be causing it to drop out when it tries to switch from the start cap to run. Watching with interest.
Update - Well it was the motor as most expected.
Excellent service from where I purchased it though.
Came out on Sat morning and picked it up, delivered it back to me late yesterday with new motor....
So all in all I was only withought it for 3 days.
