A Jewelry Box for My Daughter
Attachment 247182Attachment 247183Attachment 247184
My daughter helped us with a big painting project this summer and I wanted to show her that we appreciated her help. I made her a jewelry box. The sides are walnut wood with an inlay of hard maple. The top is a glue up of maple and walnut. After sanding down to 400 grit, a finish of four coats of water based polycrylic was sprayed on sanding with 400 grit paper between coats. Blue felt was used to line the tray and bottom of the box. I was happy with the results and so was my daughter.
I hope you enjoy the post and all comment are welcome.
Thanks for looking,
Bob
