I have enjoyed cycling a few times in Holland and it sure would be nice to have those facilities here but then who pays for it?Quote:

Having a bit more money to play with doesn't hurt either, BTW (GST) rate of 21% and a marginal income tax rate of 52% (cuts in at about $A75K).Quote:

But as BobL said, the Netherlans is a tad smaller, about 1/2 the size of Tasmania, with a similar population to Australia, so it is a bit easier to install bike paths!
