Patio build - Hardwood and softwood in the same build?

Hello, this is my first post. I am building a wood framed patio. Though my draughtsman drew up the plans based on using H3 treated pine for the posts and roofing timbers, I have sourced some jarrah posts that I am sure will look much nicer than the treated pine. Now that my posts are in jarrah, can I still build the roof frame in H3 pine? Or should I stick to using jarrah for the roof frame as well as the posts? I'm not sure if there are any dangers associated with mixing hardwood and softwood in the same build. Would love some advice.

I don't see any problems mixing between softwoods and hardwoods, as long as all meet the span requirements. I reckon the biggest issue would be a patio/pergola that is half painted and half oiled timber (assuming you will paint the TP and oil the jarrah). I reckon it would look a bit weird.
