Ford vs Holden
Sopranino Ukes made from Macs shortbread tins bought at Coles. A Holden Torana GTR XU-1 and a Ford Falcon Cobra. They are tuned an octave above a guitar.
Going in a charity auction at work. Highest bid on each wins each and the highest bid overall wins the solid EPNS Ford vs Holden tobacco and asbestos free Fathers day 2014 cup.

Titch,
You are really cranking out a lot of ukes. Every time I look at the instruments section you have a few more. Anyhoo keep it up as they are all very good to look at.
I have a couple in the pipeline right now but my build rate as a lot slower tahn yours. I will post pics when I get there.
Regards
John

My wife thinks it is starting to get to be a bit of a habit.
These tin ukes are dead easy and I have a few time saving jigs for the fretboards and stuff
Love the ones I made to sell at the charity auction so much I had to make myself one. The sound is brilliant! Kicking myself for not tapering the neck but. May fix that later. Trying out Redgum as a fingerboard. Chips easily but is hard as and great for inspiring me to play.. One more boring Thursday night in Adelaide..... Might have to run off to Coles to see if I can get some more of these tins.

Besides it's more interesting than what's on tv these days and it sure beats scrap-booking.:2tsup:
The warmer weather and crap tv has sent me into the shed a bit. Sure it's cheesy but us people of Dutch descent love our cheese. Andre Reiu anyone? - perhaps not!
