Hello, can anyone please tell me the difference between structural and non- structural plywood sheets, other than cost?
How does the structural ply then differ from marine ply?

...have a bit of a read, very informative.
It is all about the glue, the laminations and the gaps/voids inbetween, Google can be your friend
In the past, the differences where pretty clear.
Most A bond ply was structrual...but with all the imported stuff, ya realy have to look at each case.
there are A bond plywoods that are good and strong but they lack structrual certification or do not meet Australian Standards.
Marine ply, you have to know by who's standard.....the Australian Standard for marine ply is pretty stringent...specific types of wood and no voids splits or cracks in any laminate in any layer..( from memory).......it is pretty expensive and not necessary for anything but marine type applications.
The british standard marine ply, that comes out of indonesial and philipines is generally luan / meranti bassed and is sold as " exteriour", because it does not meet our standards for either marine or structrual...plenty of people use it for structrual applications in boats though.
