What! Not another machine Mike?

Hi Mike,
I have a Cinci #2 partly restored... they made these in so many places around the world over such a long period..., and they have been cloned by so many other makers, that makes getting the exact model right a bit tricky.
What model were you after? Here are just a few of the many types... ( mine is close to the EM model. ) Here's a thread on mine.. (so far) https://www.woodworkforums.com/showth...=148581&page=5
The OM model.

The LL model

Thanks Ray
Looks like the manual I need is for the LL model . The machine I am looking at is a LL model , it is a good asking price, but it hasn't got any attachments with it . It would be a long term project ... well they are all long term in my case :?
Have you made any progress with your #2 ? It appears to be a odd ball model you have .
regards mike
HI morrisman,
I don't own the machine, but I have the Manual for the Model 'LL' and also the Model 'DO'. The Manual is to be big of a File to upload here it's 74.105MB in size. Do you or anyone viewing this Thread know of a Free File sharing site that we could use. Otherwise PM me with your Postal Address and I'll put it on Disc and post it to you. If you go to this link and scroll down you can download some Cincinnati Brochures amongst other machines http://www.sterlingmachinery.com/brochures.php
Dropbox is free up to a certain limit, but i if i remember correctly Mike's internet won't be up to it.

Its here
It is made in Birmingham UK and it appears to be more like the pre war model as seen in that link of the manual RC posted . Very solid unit , it shows normal signs of usage and wear, the table is in good shape thank goodness
Has 1 hp 3 phase motor .
Rather complicated switch box with contacts etc.
Some pics
The electrical switching components inside the cabinet are probably surplus to my needs - I will be using a VFD . The cabinet itself will make a handy storage area .
The transformer in the top LH corner is 415 to 110 Volts .
The small lever on the front is a one shot lube system , you give it a pull and it pushes lubricant around the machine .
Mike
HI,
Looks good Mike, just needs a bit of a tidy up.
As I dont need the 3 phase electrical contactors and associated bits, they are available free to anyone who wants them
Mike
Found this while looking for something else, apparently that's the operators manual, showing set up for grinding.

Another one on EBAY
It appears to be a OM model . The table is set up the opposite way around compared to the machine I have here .

Apparently the version I have is a mixture of USA and UK bits - going by the manuals I have read, the wheelhead on this particular machine dates back to the pre war UK model , but the base seems to be like the LL USA model, very confusing .Mike
