Plan is 6 m wide by 9 metre long with gable roof. I also want to have a mezzanine for part of the shed (2.4 x 6 metre) for storage so I would like to have a pitched roof with 22 degree pitch and colorbond.
1. so would rafters 175 x50 F17 be OK. Would they be at 900 centres?
2. posts 100x100 at 3 metres apart holding a beam 200x 50 HWD.
3. for the mezzanine what size steel beam would be OK to span 6 metres. I would have 2.4 rafters FLOOR JOISTS run into it and then yellow tongue flooring. I presume the steel beam would have to have its own posts for support?
any help would be appreciated. All posts would be on buttress pier pads 500 deep and metal straps holding rafters to the beam.
