Hi folks,
I am keen on making 2015 the year I build the Roubo bench with the Benchcrafted hardware. I am hoping that someone has, or knows of, a set that's already here in Australia, rather than me paying an arm and half a leg to get these heavy items shipped. If anyone knows of an Australasian agent, or of a criss-cross leg rise and/or the tail rise hardware that's not being used, or is for sale, could you please let me know.

Sorry to get your hopes up I'm keeping mine.
What I did was ask a similar question on two overseas forums. I was lucky to pick up what was the bench makers package which included to gramercy hold downs and drawings. I used a third party shipper to then bring it over. On comparison the shipping at the time was less than what BC was offering. In the end I got it landed here cheaper than buying it new from BC with no shipping. Also the AUD wasn't tanking then.
