Our New Wood Lathe.

Hi to all you Shedders,
I'm very Pleased & Proud to Announce that " Geelong Community Mens Shed " in the Norlane Area of Geelong Vic. have just Purchased a " Vicmarc VL200 EVS Wood Lathe " from CWS, Carrolls.

It took quite a bit of effort money wise, but we got there.
It will take about 2 more Shed Days to set it up.

We wood have liked to have had a VL175, but they are no longer making them. Missed out by approx. 2 months.

Really proud of our Committee, for doing this, as we only had a little Ledacraft Lathe to work with, but now we can start Teaching all who want to learn Woodturning.

I know there are at least 5 who wood like to do it, & what I wood call the right way.

We wood like to Thank Jim & Irene for their help, for us to obtain this Beautiful Piece of Machinery.
