Barwon Valley Woodwrights 25th annual woodcraft exhibition
On the weekend of the 28th & 29th of November 2015, Barwon Valley Woodwrights will be holding their 25th consecutive woodcraft exhibition. We are trying to make this our biggest and best yet with a number of new attractions. The weekend is aiming to cater for the interests of men, women and children alike. There will be your usual demonstrations of woodturning, woodcarving, scrollsawing, and pyrography.
There will be static displays of woodwork pieces, and member's works for sale.
Wood suitable for turning, box making, and pen making will be for sale, and on saturday only there will be sales of Japanese hand tools.
Screw It Screws will be there with their trailer full of their special screws and associated equipment including their pocket hole jigs, which Rob will demonstrate over the weekend.
A local tool and blade sharpening company will be there to sharpen your hand tools for a discounted fee if you bring them in with you.
A special room will have demonstrations by Lace makers, Spinners & Weavers, and there will be ladies making intricate objects from beads.
Devonshire teas will be available for purchase (some say they are the best scones they have had), and there will be free giveaways over the weekend.
We will be at the:
Masonic Centre, 25 - 27 Regent St, Belmont, Victoria from 10 till 4 each day. (This is a suburb of Geelong)
