North QLD kit shed / garage crazy prices?!

Hi All,

Hoping somebody that works or worked for a shed company or from north QLD (townsville) that has been in the same boat will chime in.

I live in a C1 wind rating area, now this is confusing when looking at sheds online because alot of them say N3/C1 and sell kits to make them C2/3. Can anybody clear up what the difference is between N3 and C1?

I got a few quotes over the past couple of weeks for a 6x6 garage with a side door and must quotes were $9k or more. Supply only as a kit. No subfloor or slab. This seems really high or am i being unrealistic?
