Shed / Garage council approval

Hi All,

I've ordered a 6x6 garage for my house, hooray!

Now i want to get it council approved, i live in North Queensland (Townsville). I've had a quote for $880.00!!! Thats seems really high, i wasn't expecting that.

Can anybody comment on this price, is that typical. It looks like 1 hours work tops?

If you're from this area and know a better priced certifier please let me know.
