It more or less is a 100 skiff!!
Watching video's of those big monohulls planing in open water is almost as good as being there.
I have done better than 25knots in my little 22ft cat (and broke the mast that day), and I can assure you sailing at that speed its a pretty thrilling ride. Was just off the breeze like in the ragamuffin video except I had a mast head spinnaker up as well. That is my favourite place to be when sailing.
Here is another one for you. The couple in this video specialise in building fast cruising mono hulls and have a philosophy of going fast enough to stay away from bad weather systems

It is only short but a nice way to go cruising.
We were surfing the HMB Endeavour replica down 10m waves in the southern ocean at peaking at 18 knots and cruising are 12-14knts. Not quite the same, but a sailing a square rigger at those speeds was different to say the least. I love the southern ocean, but it can become a scary place at times!
