What a beautiful gift....
Sir, you maybe new to posting BUT WOW you are no stranger to fine craftsmanship...what a top bike, love the timber mix highlighting the detailing in the bike....
One first class job, Cheers, crowie
TinyTool That's one nice project.:2tsup:
I hate to say it but a couple weeks back I looked at the plans and started to make one but change it to look like a Yamaha 1300 but got tangled up in the frame:doh: and went to building something else.
From looking at yours I just need to go back and build to the plans and get my feet wet with doing motorcycles.
Cycles are a whole other style.
So my hat's off to you getting er done and so nicely tooo!.
Thank you Crowie and htl for your kind words.
This is my third Gatto cycle I have built (fist for my Wife but she recently dropped it when dusting and the second for my brother who is a chronic motorcycle enthusiast). Of the three, this on pleases me the most. I particularly like how the wheels finished-up, the contrast between the Bass Wood spokes, the Rock Maple hubs and the Yellow Ballou tyres is pleasing to my eye. Any tiny gaps between the hub and tyre were filled with glue and Talc powder tamped in/down with a dental pick.

Certainly a lot of detailed work has gone into this model. Excellent presentation.
