The Kester House (The Kester House & Garden) is a great Japanese inspired house restoration and garden design.
It is the most comprehensive build description I have seen including treatises on woodworking benches, restoring hand tools and everything from rebuilding walls, plumbing to handcrafted wood tools.
It is worth spending some time here....
