Thorpe ply construction information

Hi,
I have just been given a Thorpe sailboat. I have no knowledge of the art sailing but would like any information available on this craft.
I think I can become a sailor. It needs some TLC
I have attached couple of photos. I am thinking of restoring the Thorpe but want to make sure it is worth doing first.
I would like to know how to rig the Thorpe also. It came with sails and all necessary hardware.
