I've been reading some reference material that refers to "compound" roofs. What makes a roof compound?
It has 2 or more pitch's or angles on the 1 roof face ie: say 22 deg from ridge then change to 18 deg half way down then to the gutter line it can work in reverse also, a bit like the yank barn roof or mansard roof.
