A few more pepper grinder cast blanks

Brown Mallee burl in blue/purple and green/gold mica powder coloured epoxy resin Attachment 420417

Brown Mallee root burl in pink and antique silver mica powdered resin Attachment 420416

Red Mallee root in red/yellow mica powdered resin Attachment 420415

I over poured two casts with resin so sliced 10mm off the side for oversized knife scales

and as usual I had some extra resin, blue and purple, so poured some pen blanks out of scraps of Brown and Red Mallee

The first 2 are still for sale. The pink and grey/silver set sold as blanks, but I made some more and they are drilled ready to shape. The red/yellow is drilled and shaped waiting for finishing along with 7 other pepper grinders that were supposed to be finished for Xmas. Unfortunately I got side-tracked on other client orders (like the mantel piece here https://www.woodworkforums.com/f11/fi...-client-218552). Plus my mother has gone down hill so I am on my way to Melbourne.

So looks like after Xmas sometime maybe
