Timber identification
Wondering if anyone might know what kind of timber was used on these draw fronts. Made in the 50's or 60's using dovetail joints. I'd like to make 6 more draws using if possible the same timber.
I recently purchased a $200 9/10 cupboard from an elderly couple who decided on selling all their 50's and 60's furniture prior to relocating to an aged car facility. I also purchase 9 more pieces of their 9/10 furniture, in storage for now.

its northern silky, not southern. You wont find it that dark because the darkness is age related: what you'll find will be yellow to brownish in colourm but the grain will be the same and the patina of age will come with time.
PM me, I've got a mate at Blackwater who bought some off me a while back and may still have some left in stock. He wanders up here couple times a year and always leaves with his trailer loaded down with timber. If he has none I can get it relatively easy.
Drawer sides are Kauri - again available without too much drama.
The third picture looks like Qld Walnut. That isnt so easy to source - getting pretty scarce now.
