Restoration of old step ladder

Thought I would share.
Originally this was painted . Dismantled Replaced the plywood top with a solid wood one. Biggest issue I had was the original top was screwed into the legs from the top with a piece of Lino glued on. Ended up putting dowels in the legs and drilling the appropriate holes in the bottom of the top. Getting the angles for those holes did my head in, but methodically worked it out.

Plywood bracing replaced.
Stripped it down the bare cedar.

Finished in feast Watson Scandinavian oil .
Hand rubbed in finish. 4 coats.
Was going for a satin finish.
