All I can say is geez I'm in love with Huon Pine... I had read about it but it's a different thing in person. Just the way it smells OMG :)

Great result, what did you use as backing for the tambour, and what adhesive?

Thanks Alex, I used plywood for the horizontal surfaces because I didnt want to deal with wood movement, and I just dressed the edges with strips of myrtle. Then I ran out of myrtle entirely so I made the sides and back of the drawer with a strip of merbau garden screening from Bunnings LOL
Just the closest color match I had on hand.
The glue is just titebond 1.
Edit: oh sorry, now I realised what you meant. For the tambour backing I used some leftover fabric from this project
