great scrolling the pattern makes it look realistic as good patterns should.
pawoods...love the pattern and the scrolling. I do have a question....that base looks like plywood , if so what type of blade did you use. I have only done a couple of designs with a standard blade an get a bit of tear out or furriness on the cut.
What do you recommend to get clean cuts in plywood.

Hi Skot .The image was cut from 4mm Marine Ply & the backer is 9mm MDF painted black. I find the Marine ply is better quality & has less or no voids in it.To reduce tear out I use a blade with reverse teeth. for this one I used the Flying Dutchman Penguin Silver Reverse No1. there are a number of blades with reverse teeth another is the Flying Dutchman Ultra reverse.I get all my blades from Helen Harris from Murray Bridge S.A.who gives excellent service.If I get any furries on the back I burn them off with a gas torch on a low setting.Hope this helps you Cheers Peter
