Triton scroll saw help
thought it better here than Triton page.
was shifting SWMBO's Triton scroll saw that has sat in same place for 4 years + and yea gawds the dust underneath it.
So... my thinking is dismantle it cut holes/slots somewhere and put a bell mouth dust extraction pipe under the holes/slots then hooked up to the dusty system.
But how do I dismantle it? any ideas.... will this even work?

IMO probably won't increase efficiency that much and you'll be better off running just a vacuum.
If you're really worried about fine dust create an over head arm above the scroll saw and run the dusty on that duct.

vacuum wont cut the ice mate
the blades are pushing the dust down therefore trying to suck it from above is wasteful.
But I figure this.... find where it need to sit/work, enlarge holes in base of scroll saw(big holes), cut a hole in MDF benchtop, place 100mm bell mouth into hole connected to rest of dust system and sit scroll saw on top.
This allows plenty of room for dust to fall, plenty of lateral air movement.
