BA Falcon Bumper
Hey Guys,
The front bumper on the falcon is just too damn low and very fragile.
All I want to do is avoid tearing the thing off for the last year or so that I'll have this car - thanks to the local park by feel merchants pretty much every panel is marked so I'm beyond caring about asthetics.
My question, is there any reason why I couldn't trim the bumper to the red line I've marked which is a mould line - the stone tray is not an issue as it's long gone.
Cheers

Because your car would the be Un Road worthy.
You will also find it very noisy, and possibly at speed it will start to tear it self upwards.
Also it is attached to part of the body work at lower points as well.
Also your guard liners will flap madly at wind.
Sorry Matt.

You think that is low I have BF XR 6 it is lower again so I know how you feel, you just get used to going really slow over speed humps and parking well clear of those concrete bumper removal devices at the end of car parks

since the stone tray has gone, drill a few holes in the panel along its back end a zip tie to anything else that wont ome apart. that way when you come to sell it and the new owner replaces the stone tray no other holes would be seen.. jeez Iam good.:D

I know how you feel I’ve sold a 80k xr6 ute for a 110 rtv for ground clearance and load carrying dramas.
