Maintaining Hafco T-380S Thicknesser

Hi all,

I've had this unit for a little over a year. It's been phenomenal and I'm planning on keeping it that way. I've been adding machine oil through the holes indicated, but the manual also mentions draining and re-adding oil every 12 months. Unfortunately that's as much information as it gives.

How much oil should be used after it has been drained? What type of oil is suitable?

Are there any other things I should do to keep it humming? What does everyone use to clean the passive rollers (on the bottom)?
