Hand Tools - wanted - help me downshift
Hi all,
I'm moving into working from home in a tiny space. No machinery!
So, to do this I need some new tools. I'm a very happy buyer of second hand (I'm... "economically challenged")
IF you have any of the following that are spare, unneeded, selling down, or just feeling pity on this old dog.... please do think about it... :D:D
Veritas Router plane
Veritas 3 saw dovetail kit
Veritas plow plane small
Veritas #6 Fore Plane
Veritas LA Jack plus 3 blades - camber one as a jack, 50 degree bevel for smoothing, 25 degree bevel for shooting and planing end grain + toothed blades.
Spokeshave - flat and concave
The list is simply a compilation of the conversations from this thread: Downsizing and moving to hand tools..... :) Wisdom needed!!!
I've chosen Veritas for the very simple reason that I have the low angle smoother and it is a CRACKING bit of kit. My space will be very small for storage and it seems sensible that I build a tote-kit or luggable box for it all.
Post here, message me on the forum or message me on the Great Satan: WoodPixel - Home | Facebook
Veritas veritas... veritas
If you are following me, and happen to know of anyone selling these things, please do consider putting us in contact, I would as always be hugely appreciative!
From the Veritas range.....
-- Dovetail saw (3?)
-- Plow plane small for boxes
-- #6 Fore Plane (?? probably dont need yet)
-- Spokeshave - flat
-- Bullnose Shoulder Plane
-- Block plane
Second hand is completely fine, as always....
I'll be selling the majority of my large machinery! So plenty of specials here soon!!!
